I just bought a 92 Voyager w/115,000 miles;3.3. It has what I remember as a common clunk/thunk in the front end, feels like the drive axles or???. It also has a slight wobble on launch especially if turning at the same time. This wobble is noticeable while braking yet is not severe at all. The previous owner had the rotors replaced to remedy the wobble on braking, but this is not a rotor problem.
I know this is common when these get some miles on them. I hesitate to replace the axles if it is not necessary, all the engine and transaxle mounts look very good. I am quite sure it is not an engine centering problem. Someone know the commmon failure that occurs with miles that allows all these vans to do this?

You may not need new control arms, but check the lower ball joints. I had the same problem with a 93 duster i bought for my wife. I found that the driver side ball joint was badly worn. I replaced both for about 60 bucks worth of parts. Good Luck!
