Default Using a carb with turbos

How easy would it be? I talked to a guy today that is doing it with his truck. I plan on using a rising rate fuel regulator, MSD box with boost retard. What carb would work best? One of my friends suggested a quad-jet. The secondaries are nice n big. And maybe a efi fuel pump to supply high pressure to overcome the boost backpressure through the carb.

I would like to go EFI, but I cant find a kit thats reasonable in price. Lowest was the MPI holley universal kit. I know dewme5 had the TB holley kit and it sucked from what he said.

Holley would probably be the easiest and cheapest. My buddy with a 13B rotary runs 18 pounds of boost through his. Just the basic mods...solid floats, good gaskets, and a rising rate regulator with a good high pressure pump.

Been slowly working on my tt 408. 1 manifold is nearly complete. Deltagates should be here tomorrow. Maybe runnin in anothe month. I promise I will post pics soon.

positive pressure or negative pressure turbo? Like are you pressurizing your carb after the turbo, or are you turbos sucking through the carb? Sucking would be easier to work with logically because you are still dealing with vacuum. the positive pressure carbs have air bleeds and stuff that wouldnt seem to work with a high pressure system. Avanti used a positive pressure sealed Carter for their "supercharged" cars. Turbo Trans Ams used the negative pressure "pull through" turbos to make them one of the 10 WORST engines of all time.

Hey check this link out...
"feets" is in our car club and has done all of the work to this car himself (except for the cutting and welding of the headers).
I have seen it in person and it is COOL!!!!
