Default scoop......on the scoops

The underside of your hood (the frame) should have access holes cut in it to accomodate the nuts the held these on.....Remember there are rt. and lt. scoops.Just use a socket and a center punch to locate some of the stud holes and work out from there......good luck, stick

Actually, that is a 1969 Dodge Coronet. The Dual Snorkle hood was part of the N96 option on the R/T and the Super Bee. If it is a true N96 hood, it also has the Air Grabber setup under the hood as well as the oval air cleaner.

My first guess was a Coronet but if you look behind the door handle there is no scoop or indentations that where present on all 69 Coronets....Not on Satelites.....The 440 R/T Coronet thats probably what it is Ed.....Ive only been a Mopar nut for a year now, but just dont see any indentations behind the door, either iether, gorgeous car!

It's hard to tell with the lighting and the reflection, but I think that you are correct, the Coronet indentions are not there. The back side windows are also wrong for a Coronet. So, it does appear to be a Plymouth, with a RamCharger hood.

Todd F,

I will take some photos of my hood scoops on my 72 Duster for you. I currently have the hood off the car while Im working,(rather slowly) on the 340. It will be a few days till I get them posted for you as I dont have a digital camera....still using film. Till then,

Bruce Beckwith
