What is the recommend mileage to change the timing belt on a 92' 3.0 liter engine? Also can major engine damage occur when the belt breaks? I own a 92' Lebaron, 3.0 liter with 66,000 miles on it.

Hello Hemivaliant they rccomend that it be changed at 60,000 miles ive seen them go 90,000 though but it is a good idea to change it. If the belt breaks dont worry no engine damage will be down there is enough room so it doesnt crush the valves hope this helps DAN

New and Old,
Thanks for the reply. I kinda figured it would be about time to change the belt but wasn't really sure. Thanks again for the info. HV |
