Air Grabber vs Edelbrock rpm manifold
I wonder if any one can help me make a decision? I have a mildly built up 440 in a 70 Superbee With a air grabber hood and this is my problem. I want to keep the air grabber but the factory intake ( or so ive been told ) is really going to limit my combination. I would like to use a Edelbrock rpm or the MoPar perf dual plane but I dont know if they will fit with the air grabber. The engine has 11.3 :1 comp, comp ams 282s solid, 1.5
crane roller rockers, 915 heads with MoPar perf 2.14 intake 1.81 exhaust, Hooker super comps 2" pimary 3.5 collector and 3" full exhaust to the tips. Any comments would be greatly appreciated |

For the same reason as you, I'm thinking of going with a six-pack setup! In the latest Mopar Muscle the six-pack performed very well on their 540 HP 440 engine, and the six-pack should work with my 1969 RamCharger setup on the Coronet R/T.
It looks like the main drawback is the cost of the six-pack setup. |

You have a couple of choices. The six pak setup is not a cheap option ($1,600+). If you don't mind cutting up the bottom of the current air cleaner assembly, it should fit. The best option is the Weiand Stealth/Action+ (8009) intake. It is superior to the original cast iron intake. It is the best option for an Air Grabber setup.

Thank you, Eddie. I've wondered about that.
