Default engine upgrade

I'm doing a engine swap in my duster this winter. I've got a 71 440 it the backyard for the swap. the 440 has "G440" on one corner of the id boss. Across from that upside down it has what looks like part of an "H", and beside it a " B". I dont think that its a "P". Under the second "4" of "440" is a "3" sideways. There is a "5" in the center of the id next to nothing, and also a "2" and a "9" on there. No maltize crosses, diamonds, or anything. Any help decyfering would be appricated.
I would also appricate any advice on the swap, and rebuild. I plan to do the Schumacher 340 to 440 mounts, and headers. I dont mind removing the fenderwells if it could get me into cheaper headers. I've got power steering now with headers on my 340, oh what a nightmare. This is going to be a weekend driver, close cruizes and shows, and the drag strip fairly often. I am thinking a .030 bore and basic rebuild. I put in a radiator from a late model New Yorker that i think will cool the car, but if not I have a old 440 radiator.
Advice, comments, and opinons muchly appricated. Thanks in advance...

Beautiful car! It reminds me of my dear departed scare the crap out of Camaros Duster. You thought the headers with the small block were a nightmare!

Here is a great web page dedicated to putting big blocks in a bodies
http://www.bigblockdart.com/

It has a rundown of headers for BB A's and lots of other tricks.

Good luck man, and I am jealous!

Awesome Car!!!!!!

How much HP are you trying to get?

Is this going to be a street driver or street strip deal?

Question Where did you get that scoop?????

OK, thats it! that is the same hood as a aspen/ volare, which is a n "F" body, which is basiclly the same as "M" and "J" body.........right? so one will fit my 5th Ave.
If A = B, and B = C, then A = C right?
5th

My decoding book ran away (I think one of the ids did something with it). If I knew where it was, I would be able to help you.
