I bought an '89 Shadow with turbo and the linkage became disconnected to the actuator arm. I can get the linkage rod connected to the pin on the arm but it won't stay put. There must be some kind of retainer that's missing that slides over the pin but I don't know what it looks like. Chrysler dealer says this is a none-serviceable part and that it is an e-clip. I know it can't be an e-clip because the pin on the arm is not grooved. Does anyone know what part is used here with description. I've tried to find something suitable at hardware stores but no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

If it is an 89 Shadow then I assume it's a mitz turbo therefore a standard "R" clip fits in a hole in the pin

Thanks Dean. I'll check for a hole in the pin where I could slip on r-clip through the pin. It is just so hard to see down in behind the motor. I'm going by feel! Thanks for the tip. Scott.
