Improvement on a Holley Street Dominator!!
Hi
Just wonder if its any use to do more than the portmatching to improve the performance of my new Holley SD for a 383 Challenger,, I dont wanna lose the bottom torque so anything that can improve that part will be nice. I guess that compared to the standard iron intake I dont have any loss,,correct me if Im wrong! I love the grinding tool,,Anywhere I can cut off some material,,LOL. Olle B! |

If you haven't ran the manifold yet, install it and see how it runs. It should be good "as-is". Check the plugs later to make sure they are all about the same. If the fuel distribution is wrong, then you may want to do more work on the intake.
Otherwise, without a flow bench, you will not have any way to tell if your changes help or hurt the air/flow and fuel distribution. |
