Default a magnum 360 in a D200

I have a 76 D200, former army truck, and I want more performance in my truck. When I rebuild my 318 to the performance that I want (300 hp plus) its gonna kost me almost the same amount of money as an brand new Magnum 360 engine, sold by Summit racing (part number dcc-5249499).
So my question is: Can a 360 magnum engine replace the 318 in my old Dodge D200 truck. Does the 360 magnum have the same enginemounts and does the original torqflite 727 fit the magnum.
I know that when i built in a 360 I need another flexplate (for ballancing).
Thanks Ed

My extremely limited knowledge tells me that beyond balancing the external dimensions and motor mounts on the 360 are the same as a 318. Good luck.

On a '76, everything should bolt on. Even the flexplate balancing should be ok.

A crate fit my '73 'cuda like a glove.

A Magnum 360 is balanced differently than an LA 360. Other than that, all the acceries will bolt up and set in the old engines place.

Are you people sure about the question that the new magnum 360 can replace the old 318 in my army truck. I'm living in europe and can't affort to order and ship an enigine that won't fit.
Are there people who know if the magnum 360 will fit the torqflite 727.
Thanks Ed

Yes this will work fine I used the 360 magnum crate engine in my 79 D150 (Lil Red) with no problems - as others have stated the balancing is the only thing to watch for other than that all exhaust, brackets, trans etc... bolt right up.
