Help Challenger Problems

I need to know what transmission yoke I need for my small block 727 tranny.
Do I need
the 29 spline 7290 yoke
or the 29 spline 7260 yoke

Also, what length driveshaft do I need for this application?
challenger: 360, 727 tranny and an 8 3/4 rear end
thanks

7290 yoke = big U-joint
7260 yoke = small U-joint
Driveshaft length I don't know. But there are companys that you can purchase a driveshaft ready made to fit your car. Seeing that it is a stock configuration, it's an easy call.
The local drive shaft shop would be the better bet. If it's not to hard to get to.

I just took the measurement you need off my 74 Challenger 360 727 8.75 rear, and it came out to 45.5 in from the center of one u-joint to the other.Hope this helps!

You should have measured mine while you were here. I have the combo 7260/7290. Yes, the 340 will live next year. And this time the block will be the correct color. Yup, its a 318.
