Hi we're looking for a used 2.2 performance head. The one in the mopar performance catalog, with the 44ml. valves and is ported with the mechanical lash adjuster set up. for a mini stock racer. If you can help contact us at Warway376@aol.com. Thanks!

Hey, I can't help with the head, But we've been racing 2.2 in mini-stock for a couple of years. We can't run the big valve head. I am curious at what carb and ignition you use.

we are regulated to using a holley 5200 carb, we got the one thats in the mopar performance catalog. As far as ignition goes, we're running a distributor from an old omni and running without a computer.

We have to use a stock lift cam. I have been using a stock cam, but I am planning to buy Mopars "252" cam. I've cut my head down and I'm going to use MP's back cut valves. I use a 5200 carb from a 76 V6 Mustang. I use the same set-up for the distributor. We are allowed to use the factory fuel injection, but I'm not sure about the computor. With no modifications, I was 2nd in points at mid season. My best finish was 3rd, my worst was 6th. We usually have 12-18 cars. I had to quit last year because of job conflict, but I should be able to run the full season next year. If you have any tips you can share, I would appreciate it.
