Default hemi automatic transmission

I recently purchased a 383 with the following automatic transmission. The engine & tranny were in a pickup truck and according to the owner (he does contract work for me and it would be foolish for him to mislead me) He said the transmission was originaly mated to a hemi and that it has large clutches and shifts hard. I need help to identify what transmission this is to make sure it will do the job when I build up the 383.

261-4 large cast numbers both side at top

#6 has been hand stamped on rear tail section of transmission

2466901 KOP located on pass side rear tail section

PK2892031K 2384 4642 stamped drivers side above pan

The rear housing has a small T shaped crack 1/2 way between
tanny mount and where rear section bolts to front housing on pass side. It looks like the damage was done from the inside.
There is no signs of any leakage. Any idea's what happened here? Thanks for your help!

PK2892031 is the part number for a 727 that came from a '68 383 4-barrel car. After 35 years it could have anything inside.

2384 is the assembly date February 6, 1968.

The damaged area is the general location of the governor and the parking sprag. Any failure of the governor could jamb parts between it and the case. If it doesn't leak, I wouldn't worry about it.
