I have seen this in several transmissions, and it sounds like your clutches are friction welded to the steels inside the rear drum in your transmission, though if you are having the problem in forward and reverse, that is probably not the case. I would still get a whiff of the transmission fluid to see if it smells burned, and if it did, I would drop the pan off and see if there is excessive soot in the sump. If there is, it is likely that the clutches have had their lining burned off and have welded to the steels. Just a thought to maybe point you in a new direction.

Rumble, did you see the last suggestion in the original post. Someone asked if there was an LA cam in a poly motor? Come to think of it, where did you guy's get an RV cam for a Poly?
