I was referred to this board for their expertise. This may seem like a
simple question, but I'm baffled. I have a 97 Dodge Caravan which I'm trying to change the air filter. It seems like it's harder now with these "newer" model cars and they want you to take it in for every little thing. Any one know how to get the covers open so I can actually change the air filter? It used to be such a simple task but they've got the covers shut good. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. |

the thing on top with the 2 10mm bolt heads on them this is a silencer take the 2 bolts out. then with a 5/16ths flex socket loosen the 2 hose clamps from the throttle body and the air cleaner box. then remove hose/silencer. Now remove the 2 clips holding the air filter box lid on and remove the filter
