Maybe, maybe not, let's evaluate the choices,
one-fender on tire, cant afford to pit and go potentially a lap down, run, the tire goes flat, hard into the wall
two-get out,play stupid, pull on fender, " you mean I cant do that, im sorry" maybe get penalized,maybe not....
leading the point championship, one is a no win possibility, two may be i get away with it, I'd gamble...which is exactly what he did!!!
