Help my 225

My /6 225 "Leaning Tower Of Power" is getting closer to being nothing more then just a leaning tower. Now I have been made an offer that I am not sure I can refuse. I was offered a 30,00 mile 440 and a 4 speed running and attached already for $400.00 i am so tempted to take the offer but i love my six what to do ?

Take the offer or drive the truck till it dies?

If this thing (440and trans ) has 30 thousand miles on it buy it even if you don't need it. I am assuming it is going in a truck and will fit no proplem just have to find a couple of parts, or resale the 440 and make some money. This is my oppinion and sticking to it oh by the way I will buy the trans off you.If the truck is a auto stay with an auto make life easier on installation. Cost of a rebuild is a fair amount $$ more than $400

I own a slant as well. Pull it, hone it, ring it, run it. My slant is a sub 90psi pos, getting replaced by a 360 but i'm not gonna junk my s/ant power!(or lackthereof)

Get that 440 and enjoy though. keep the slant in the corner(helluva paper weight!)
