OK i got my 77 Cordoba running for now with leanburn.but now there's a new problem i have put a set of dynomax headers on the car and the shift rod does not clear the back of the driver side header it say to flip / bend / cut the rod and make it work and it's not to clear where to do this i was wondering what you guys would do? i was thinking maybe a b&m star shifter? or something of that nature

flip / bend / cut the rod and make it work is what I would do.....

Sometimes you have to be part genious to make this "Bolt's Right On" stuff work.

I had 76 Cordoba with a 318 (blowed the 360 to hell one night...) and headers, I ended up putting a floor shifter out of a satellite in it due to headache, I mean header clearance problems. The later b bodies have the column shift linkage in a different spot than the older ones that the headers wer designed for. (My apologies to the word "designed" as most headers fit about as well as a bkini on a pig)
