turbo 318 with carb questions

i was wndering who could help me in the selectionof what parts to get and how modify the carb for blow thru use ...it'll be a stock 318 with a hipo edelbrock manifold and 4 barrel holley...thanx

most people ive seen with the blow thru carbs dont modify the carbs themselves except for different jets. (you might find some anwsers in the /6 chat room on this site if you do a search for turbos). Basicly, you need a fuel pump/regulator that is boost sensitive, meaning it raises the fuel pressure going to the carb per pound of boost. Also, you'll need a ignition that is boost sensetive and allows you to dial in a cirtain amount of timing retard per pound of boost. MSD has an ignition like this that has a nob that you mount in the car and you can adjust the amount of retard from your seet.
So how do you plan to mount the turbo(s)? Do you plan to make your own exhaust manifolds? What turbos are you going to use?

dont know what turbos yet but i will build the manifolds...du u know of a site or company that sells modified carbs
