Default Online stereo equipment?

Question, "whats the deal with these online stereo places where they sell name brand equipment but offer their warranty not the manufacturers warranty and admit they are not an authorized name brand retailer. Plus there are no serial numbers on these units yet they carry the manufacturers name on the unit. These places also claim they only sell brand new , no refurbished, no demo, no return units. The selling prices are often $30.00 or more less than retail plus no taxes or shipping. What gives? Anyone.................
