Hey guys, looks like Mercedes semi-imposed their logo over the PENTASTAR on this site. Looks like a freakin pizza. Seems to me that people who want Chrysler buy Chrysler and the same goes for Mercedes buyers. Will they someday merge the two makes so much as to create a mutant car with no identity?

I spied an article in "Hot Rod", the source of all mechanical knowledge, that Dumbler intends to pawn off the building of Vipers and Prowlers to an outside builder. This is another step to what is rumored to be a complete revision of the Chrysler line, like the dropping of Plymouth. The article said that more changes were coming and that a new series of Dumbler cars is coming.

I hope you realize I was just joking about the Hot Rod knowledge thing.

Um, I wouldn't blame the killing of the Plymouth name all on the Germans. I remember when I was a Parts Manager that the Plymouth name was supposed to end in 95 or 96, but was kept because Plymouth Voyager owners said they wouldn't by the same minivan if it were a Dodge. Talk about brand loyalty, eh? Needless to say, Plymouth was kept, but you can tell it was getting phased out. No Avenger/Sebring car, no LH car, etc. I think they just did the Neon thing to keep the name going. Same with the Breeze.
