I am trying to take off the hoses that surround my heater valve and I cant get them off for nothing, is there any tricks? I have a manual for my car but see nothing about it at all. Please help me out.

Hacksaw Rasor blade or a sharp knife should do it.

If it's on the chevy, one qt gas poured over hose + one lit kitchen match works and does $2,000.00 improvements. Now to be serious cut the hose length wise or hold the hose with water pump pliers and gently twist the valve or vise a versa.
