Crate 360
Ron, I have never installed a crate motor, but have a friend who has. He encountered some minor problems; brackets, fittings, odds and ends nothing major. It may not go completely smooth, however, does it ever. Stay positive, don't get frustrated just take it in steps. I am sure that some crate motors could be lemons, but I think it is rare.
I am restoring a 1967 Dodge Dart, ground up. It has been a real challange. Learing to weld, paint and body work, but love every minute of the task. It is really rewarding to see the progress that I am making. Not every step went smooth. It has been a real learning experience for me. I am starting to put the car back together. Dave Davis |

Actually, the 360 crate DOES bolt right in for any A/LA mounting, belts and all. Had no problem at all. The hood clearance for the air filter was a bit tight, though, as the intake manifold supplied is kinda tall.
