Question

I have a 96 Intrepid 3.5 rocket, I am going to put a custom flowmaster exhaust on it from the 3rd cat back and y-pipe the single 2.5 inch pipe into 2 2.25 inch pipes with 2 2.25 inch 2 chamber flowmasters. I've heard from some sources that if I remove the resonator box, the check engine light will come on and stay on. Is this true?? I sure hope not, I want to break into the 14's with my ride. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

It's poor customers like yourself that make it bad for everybody. I get to see these lying #$%$#@# everyday. I hope you get treated the same way in your own bussiness ventures. If anybody deserves a break it's the honest people!!!!!!!

I have no exhaust system on my '95 Intrepid 3.5... No check engine light ever. I have either 2.5" or 3" pipe from the cat back, no muffler...Isn't due for inspection until August so I'm in no rush to put one on yet. If anything, I may dump a few bucks in and go for true dual exhaust from the headers back...dual cats won't be cheap. Good luck and if you need any assistance drop me an email or visit me at my website.
