Default Turns heads straight-piped.

Ditched my cat and muffler the other night...loud, not bad in cab, sets off alrms well. Sounds just like a peterbilt...turbo seems to wind up faster, too...I like it!

Sweet! Did you go with stock-size pipe? What about the exit - rear, side or stacks?

I got rid of my muffler a little over a year ago. The sound is music to my ears. I have totally stock exhaust with the exception of no muffler. My '93 never had a catalytic converter so I didn't have to worry about hacking it off. I am quiet in the cab too, unless I have the windows down and a heavy foot. They don't call them thunder trucks for anything!!!! I LOVE the turbo whine!!!!

Sounds like a good setup, guys. 93Cummins, not sure if you peruse the local Truck Traders very often, but this week, there's a '97 2500 reg cab 4wd Cummins w/ a custom front bumper and gooseneck setup for $8500 (!!). I'm calling the guy tonight to see what's wrong with it.

Default Good luck on that 97!

I don't usually check out the Truck Traders, but that sounds like a heckuva deal if its not mortally wounded. Good luck and let me know if it works out for you!
