Cry Need more power . . .

I have a 67' Plymouth Belvedere II with 318, I have a 4 barrel carb ready to go but no intake ! I'm going to be do a swap to a 440 in the future, but need to by a house first to keep the "little lady" happy (one with a big garage though!). On the other hand I can only take so much of the stock 2 barrel lack of power. Does anybody know where I can get a 4 barrel intake for a small block (non-wide block) 318, used or new, cast iron or aluminum, spread bore or square bore ?!?!? I'm also on a "tight budget" of course !

PS. I know beggars can't be choosers, but I would prefer a dual plane intake if possible. (Ok you can stop laughing now and give me some ideas please.)

Thanks in advance !

Funny what's posted here sometimes. It just works out that way once in a while.

The weiand 180 deg dual plane action plus is what you want with a carter thermoquad. Great street set up. Advance sell the thermos new for around 180 and the intake is close to that new as well I think. Should be able to find one used. One thing though, just dont go out and grab a holley and an edelbrock just 'cause evryone else has one. They are not always the best solution for your needs.
