ok. I was driving home for lunch last Thursday when suddenly I lost power and the car died. It would turn over yet not start.
So I pull a plug and Im gettting no spark. So I changed the coil then the spark plate(or whatever its called, the round plate underneath the distributer cap) and still nothing. My fear is that the computer modual went out..SUCK..anyway any other suggestions?? |

Check all your fuses first, then try the pickup in the distributor, the one that has the electrical connector on it.

The first thing I would do is check to see if the distributer is turning maybe the timing belt went south

Distributor pick up is in the distributor, at the bottom. There are 2 wires goint to it to a connector. Its the only wires going to the distributer with the cap off. Sometimes where it enters the distributer itr shorts on the casing. check that and if not replace the pickup.
