90 Daytona 2.2 turbo tech questions
will not charge cooling fan will not turn on a/c clutch will not turn on or cycle all of these items when powered will work checked fuseable links and relays Where does the power come from before the relays? What else should I check? |

If the battery won't charge, check the alternator...either that or the battery is past its prime. As for the cooling fan not turning on, check the thermostat, it may be bad. Put it in a small saucepan and boil the water, the thermostat should open if it isn't working properly.
Just fixed a friend's 88 Omni 2.2 and the cooling fan wouldn't turn on because the thermostat was stuck. $3 for the thermostat and $3 for the gasket at any auto parts store. That and check your coolant/coolant level. Sam [This message has been edited by Marlin (edited June 14, 2000).] |

Double check the power for your relays that come from the fuse links. sounds like you could have a bad one.
