PLEASE -help with vent tube from fuel line
In restoring my 1971 Dodge Challenger I am swapping the engine for the 360 crate motor with the mopar performance air cleaner assembly and holley street avenger carb. My problem is what to do with the vent tube from the fuel line (also referred to as the pollution vent tube) ?? Since it will no longer be hooked up I'm looking for suggestions as to what to do with it? Has anyone removed theirs and if so what did you use to vent the tank ????

well..........
If you are talking about the vent line from the tank, I just dumped mine overboard. where the line comes forward from the tank to the now removed vapor can, i just ran some vac hose down under the car so it vents in front of the K member. yeah sure you will smell a littel gas if the wind blows right, but your car wont explode or anything like that.
thats what I did 5th |

The line runs form the gas tank along the passenger side of the engine compartment and is a steel line that fed into the old breather/carb assy

The line can be capped off, it is one of many vents.
