2.4 mods

just bought my grandmother a 2000 stratus se today with the 2.4 dohc 4 banger. just wondering if there is anyone out there catering to mods for this vehicle/engine....

So far, I have found a nitrous system from Nitrous Works that you can find at www.howellautomotive.com, and there are a couple of other upgrades there to.

Actually any uprgrade for the 2.0 DOHC Neon will work on the 2.4. This inscludes cam heads etc. In fact if you swap over the Neon head and valve train you will lose about 20 ft/lbs of torque but gain about 25-30 hp.

• Intakes
• Exhausts
• Superchips ICON (to adjust the timing curves)
• Underdrive Pulley
• Coilovers and Lowering Springs

Plus the afore-mentioned Neon options.

Drop a 2.4L in a Neon. It'll run mid 14's in stock trim. My friend just had it done. He loves it 'cept the solid front mount gets a little noisy. But other than that his neon runs great. Just have to put an adjustable fuel press. reg. slight change in firing order. It uses the 2.0L intake. The 2.4L intake will hit the radiator. A down side, my friend had to drop his A/c and P/S.
