Zollner pistons?
I'm hopeing someone can help. I've only pulled the heads off my 440 and the part number on the top of the pistons is L3059f 060.
I know it's 60" over but am trying to figure the piston make. In a catalog I've come a cross Zollner pistons with this number but no information on them at all (eg cast or forged) also have been told it could be TRW. If anyone could shed some light on this it would be a great help as I am thinking on throwing some N2O into the mix. Thanks Tim 1971 V.G valiant Hardtop 440/727/ 9inch 12.51 @ 113 mph |

440valleytank....
your piston is a .060 TRW (L3059F) which is a legal IHRA-NHRA replacement piston for the 66-70 all 4V and 6Pak 440's. CR depends on CC's of the head. Heavy forged piston and will withstand reasonable NOS hits. (150 wet shot) |
