Default ? for GUAM SS/T

Hey Guam ss/t,

A friend of mine is wondering if this car was/is still on Guam. Heres the info he sent me:

Challenger was purchased via "Special Order" in Viet Nam and delivered in Guam, I sold it to a local Police Officer when I left Guam in July 1973.

1970 Dodge Challenger
SubLime Green with Black Vinyl Top
440-6 Pack Stage 3 (435 HP)
Black Fiberglass Shaker Hood
4-Speed with short Pistol Grip
3:91 Sure Grip 8 3/4" Rear End
15 x 8 Rallye Rims with Beauty Rings and Chrome Caps/Lugs
Black interior with Bucket Seats and Console
AM/FM Stereo
Air Conditioning

Original price $3547 including tax and license.

If it is still alive, I would love to see a recent picture.

I can't say if it is or isn't. I think there is a good chance it is still there. The MOPAR guys on the Island don't bring their cars out much though.

There is an Orange 70 Challenger 440-4bbl on the island, I don't remeber what tranny it has though. All I do remeber is that it is very nice and the owner prefers to race motorcycles to get a good run.

There is also a 69 Roadrunner which is stripped down a little but still decent and very fast also.

Guam SS/T,

Thanks for your answer. Kind of makes me wonder if if its been repainted and is the orange one. I wouldn't think there would be a lot of 70 Chally's over there.

He told me he could of had it shipped home, but, instead shipped his motorcycle because the Navy only would ship one vehicle. He told me he regretted not shipping the Chally.

You have to remember that it's been 30 years of Tyhoons and salt water on Guam. That is tuff for any car to survive. It is also likely that someone in the military bought it and shipped it back. I only saw about 4 MOPAR muscle cars during the four years I was there.
