i am interested in making a rear wheel drive 5 spd 2.2 turbocar i know that dakota trucks had a 5 spd tranny that hooked to a 2.5 but will it be strong enough for higher boost levels like 25 pounds? or is there a tranny that will hold this motor? it has to be a stick shift. i can fab mounts and everything else . thanks for the help anyone.

The Dakota trans is plenty strong enough. The main question is are you going to like the wide ratio gearbox?
