Stainless steel brakes have a disc brake conversion for a-body cars up to 72. I have a 74 duster with 10 inch drums and a 4 inch bolt pattern. why wont the brake kit fit on my duster???

Well I'll assume that you aren't hung up on that particular kit and that what you really want are good brakes. If that is correct then I'd recommend the tech archive at www.moparaction.com for their brake upgrade article.

Don't throw away those '75 drum brake knuckles, I use them when putting Viper brakes onto A, B and E body kits. If you switch to disc knuckles then sell the drum knuckles to someone so they can do the Viper conversion.

There really isn't any need for rear disc brakes on your car unless it is really fast. Eberg runs the Green Brick at over 160 mph and it has rear drum brakes.

Why would you want to put Wilwood brakes on your car? Is it a drag race only vehicle? Did you read the moparaction tech article?
