Well, I started with an '89 Daytona CS. It was the non-intercooled performance package as opposed to the intercooled competition package. I have installed an aftermarket boost controller, a 2.5" manderal bent exhaust, a stock intercooler from a Shelby Z, an adjustable zener diode to keep the computer from cutting the fuel over 14 psi of boost, a 30 psi boost guage, and an air/fuel ratio guage. Right now I'm running 17 psi, and should be up around 20 once I decide what I'm going to do about adding the fuel necessary. With the fuel situation straightened out, a better turbo, and some port work, I'm shooting for 25-30 psi and around 300 hp at the front wheels. All this on bone stock internals with 135,000 miles. We'll see how long she lasts before the first rebuild...

I have a 1984 Shelby Charger that I bought new. I raced it in stock eliminator for a few years. Now it has 50k on it, and the paint is falling off.

I used to have a Shelby CSX. I kept it for about 10years and sold it to a friend of mine, he sold it when the turbo went out at about 155k.

Future mods are: front mount NPR intercooler, big valve ported head, and possible a header and bigger turbo

I have an 1987 Dodge Shelby Charger GLHS #272. Oh what fun. Currently the only mod is a computer upgrade from FWDPerformance. Just waiting for the season to begin to see what else I might want to do.

I don't know if this would count in this catagory since it is not an orignal Shelby;

I have a 1987 Dodge Daytona Pacifica T-tops with a 1988 Dodge Daytona Shelby Z 2.2 Turbo Motor. Along with the 803 Mopar Performance Injectors, MSD 6A Ignition Box, MSD Blaster 3 Coil, 2 1/2 down pipe from the turbo back to the rear axle then drops down to a Dynomax 2 1/4 inch Mandrel Bend Pipe, Dynomax High Performance Super Turbo Muffler, Mopar Performance Computer, "home made" Direct Ram Air Cooled System for the turbo. Performance Hood Scoop, Magnecor 8.5mm Race Wires, Cold Air Induction, with Direct Ram Air, K&N type cone filter made by Ractive which is completely sealed from underhood high temperatures, K&N Crankcase Filter, Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator, Air/Fuel gauge, Fuel Pressure Gauge, Monroe Sensa Trac shocks for the back, Monroe Sensa Trac struts on the front, New Coil Springs front and back, and to top it off a Grant Challenger style steering wheel. As of now I get around 17psi + of boost, (fully adjustable). Soon to add a Zener Diode, (to stop over boost shut down), Engine Oil Cooler, Tranny Cooler, and if possible an Intercooler, (if I can get it to work with the Direct Ram Air set up).

I would also like to add a direct fit 140 MPH or a 150 MPH speedo. I can't seem to find one to fit.

I have a daily driver 1989 shelby CSX #438. It has 150,000 miles on it and still runs like new and uses no oil (just leaks it a little).
