A few years ago there was a orange challenger that was at monster mopars in st. louis. It had a 360 mopar crate engine and procharged with intercooler. I seen it in all the mopar mags that year then in disappeared. I believe procharger sponsored it some so you might call them and find out.

I am also interested in s-charging my 440. The last issue of Mopar Action had a 77 Cordoba with a very nice setup. I have the basics down on installation, but also want to know if anyone has done it yet. Be cool people.

the thing i like about the pro charger is the fact that it stays under the hood .

Thats right I forgot that procharged "doba" was at st. louis last year. Very clean car never heard it run though. The orange challenger I talked about earlier was running low 11's with what they said was a stock crate engine.

Scott Spiess (BPT Racing) has one on his '71 'Cuda with the 504" crate motor. He bought the blower off E-bag and had brackets made. He runs his through a Flying Toilet on alcohol. The car went from running 11.0's to 9:40's. It's an iron head, hydraulic cammed motor.

Default 73 Challenger from the mags with ATI

I'm new to this site so bear with me thru this first message!
I saw a message relating to our blown and intercooled 73 Challenger that was in ST Louis...we are still in business and the car has transformed to a big block car. As a big block car, we've been featured in Mopar Action and Hot Rod magazines. Our last run of the 2002 season was an 8.70 at 154 miles per hour. Car weighs 3450, 10" tires, full rollcage, 400cid engine, D3M blower, etc. We still specialize in blown and intercooled Chryslers and we can be seen soon in Mopar Now magazine with our 700hp blown and intercooled 99 Dodge Dakota R/T. If anyone is interested in info, please check out our website which is still under construction (sorry!) at
www.sd-concepts.com or e-mail me your snail mail addy and I'll send mag articles, and information. email addy is sd-concepts@yahoo.com
To clarify, we were NEVER sponsored by ProCharger, and the 360 was NOT a Chrysler crate motor. It was a motor that Scott built himself and we actually have our own line of blown and intercooled crate engine packages available now.

Thanks,
Wendy

Wendy, sorry for the misinformation. Glad to see that you still run the Challenger. That thing is etched in my memory(although a little cloudy) as at the time I had a street 73 challenger and thought it would be different to run a centrifical on it. Then low and behold We go to gateway and see one. I was stoked.Hope you make it back to Gateway again it would be nice to see your new setup.

We'er hoping to get to Gateway again, too! It'll be better next time we get out with the car - we've actually come along way and have a lot of the tuning stuff down now.
Keep checking on our site as we hope to keep adding pictures and info.

Wendy

Default procharger on a 440 motor

I ordered a crank pulley from a company back in Rhode Island that specializes in procharger kits for mopars especially older carb 440's.
The name is SDCE.
They were really helpfull and seemed to be really into making mopars go faster.
Sorry I dont have website address or phone number I could find it if anyone is interested.
I am fabricating a setup for my 440 using a vortec supercharger.
I will let you all know how it turns out.
Thanks for having a section on power adders.
Larry

Wendy,
Good to see you guys "out and about"

I have been seeing lots of posts on the success that you and Scott are having in the business.

Namely camaroz28, Blowthoughcarb, stangnet,.......and more.
If you really want some action go to Mo - parts - . - com Q & A.
It's a very active mopar only board.

Jody (one of many) is touting you guys heavily and his latest dyno #'s are suppose to be 951hp.

I'll be in the market for some more parts soon too so I can finish up my daytona Z. It's still on the shelf so to speak but the engine is almost complete.

What part of NJ are you from? DO you know where Camden, NJ is? Why you ask. Well , I'm coming to play for the Camden Riversharks baseball team there this summer. It's part of the Atlantic League located in the NH,NJ,NY area. Independent league baseball. Lots of ex-major league guys play in it. Minor leagues(Farm teams or whatever) that don't have a Big league team. BUt it is Pro baseball and we get paid very well to be there and can get picked up b an organized club.

Oh, how are Prochargers these days? From what I heard about 4-6 mos ago the systems weren't doing that well on the dodge vehicles and needed to be upgraded or something like that.
