Welp as long as you change the oil every 3K, and have the trans service, coolant flush, etc... the usual stuff done, you *should* be fine.

Change the TIMING BELT now!, I know it says 140,000 but trust me, its a lot cheaper to replace it befor it breaks!
My wife has 198,000 K on hers and going strong, other than headgasket at 100,000k (did the belt then too) it has been bullit proof. |

The timing belt is scheduled for replacement at 102,000 miles. When you do it, replace the water pump as well. It's gotta come off anyway, so you might as well put a new one on as preventative maintainence. My dealer replaced the t-stat as well since it comes off too.
My 95 is pushing 104k now and I'm very comfortable with it. I know of one Neon with 250k on it and AFAIK it's going strong. The owner is on the Neon list but obviously is too busy driving to post much ------------------ Rich 1995 Plymouth Highline Coupe |
