Default Mopar speed shop in Montana

I may be young but I have an idea. What would you all think of me starting a mopar speed shop in Montana. I am residing in bozeman right know and I know that if I could get mopar to let me sell MP stuff, got a shop, and a few local mopar nuts for employees, I could have a good business. A good business considering I would be the only listed Mopar speed shop in MT or WY. I know that some of you buy carbs from cuda so I was wondering if you would buy other things, heads etc., from some guy like me over in god's country. Do I have any support on this one?

Umm, good luck. Speed shops are a dying breed and a Mopar only one would be very rare. I sell my parts to speed shops and it takes a really good combination of skill, luck and location for a shop to survive. Margins are thin and Jegs or Summit will kill you if you don't have something better to sell than just pretty parts in a box.

If you really want to start a speed shop I'd suggest that you go work in one for awhile. Learn on someone else's dime for a few years. If you want to run a Mopar one then go work for Mazzolini or Mancini for awhile to see how they do it. Both of those guys have been in the business for years so they have it figured out to some extent.
