Temperature was 30 degrees farenheight this morning up in New York... My 95 Intrepid ES didn't get as warm as it should have in side, heat was cranked, engine was warm...all in all it took about 20 minutes of driving (how long it takes me to get to work in the morning) for it to warm up comfortably. Anybody have a FSM with a quick-fix for this? I'm going to call the dealer but I would like to know if it is something I could fix myself...

nah, new thermostat already, had the same problem on the old one too, i think it has something to do with the hoses going into the heater core, don't know for sure tho... the FSM *i believe* stands for the Factory Service Manual, a bible for fixing issues on a specific model of car.

the car has "climate control", so i can set a temperature and the car does the rest...

Well the dealer says that it is the thermostat...doesn't make sense to me but I'm a computer expert, not an automotive one. They wanted $20 for the thermostat/gasket and $33 for labor. I'm going to do it myself and *hope* that it fixes the problem.
