Default Small Block Main Studs

I have read many times here that you can't use the main studs on the rear cap. I was really glad to know that so i could take mine out the next time I had the pan off. It is a no-brainer to use a stud on the rear main. Just use one of ARP's 12 point nuts with the large face (washer type). Put it together, torque it down and remove what part of the stud that sticks out of the nut. I just took my time and use a cut off wheel. Don't over heat the stud.
