Default Brake pads

Instead of a question on going fast, I have one on stopping. I want to up grade my front disc's on my '70 Cuda. What is a real good high performance pad to use? Right now I'm using the stock auto parts store pads. I know there is better ones out there. Has anyone tried them?

I've always used Raybestos "Brute Stops" semi metallic pads and never had a problem!

They have Ceramic pads now for the ricers. I think they resist fade to the 10th power or so. I dont know how good you would stop using a dinner plate though. Raybestos has some good stuff and disk brakes are excellent as they are. Maybe you want to upgrade to the bigger discs, But not with the 14 inch wheels.
