Default Edelbrock Shock Absorbers

Just installed Edelbrock shocks front and rear on my Challenger and it made a world of difference. The old Monroe-Matics that were on the front were shot and the Monroe Air Shocks on the rear were leaking.

Are those the IAS shocks? I've been thinking about putting a set of the IAS shocks in my '69 Coronet and a set in my '96 Ram.

Yes they are the IAS. They are red with the back rubber boots. They have poly urethane bushings and the fit and finish are superb. They are very heavy and seem to be well built.Even the washers and the "thru tube " that goes through the poly bushings on the rear are plated. I hghly recommend these shocks at $73 each.My Challenger has never ridden so well, smooth yet firm and quiet.I also put an Energy Suspension poly urethane transmission support bushing on at the same time and that item is excellent too.

Thumbs up Edelbrock AIS

I put a set of Edelbrock AIS shocks on my Grand Cherokee. They greatly reduced the side to side rocking and reduced body roll as well. They are worth the money in my opinion. Shop around because prices do vary ($65-$80 each.) Check your local parts houses and truck accessory shops. Jegs and summit were on the high side price wise JC Whitney was toward the lower end. My best deal was through a local truck accessory retailer.

Thanks. When I'm ready to buy, I'll call some of the 4X4 shops in the area (my local speed shop is overpriced on everything).

Default Another vote for IAS

These shocks are a must have, even at $70 a pop. Just swapping in a full set of these in place of the stock ones made a world of handling difference for my 71 Dart Swinger.
