I have an 88 LeBaron 2.2L Turbo I. There is a Mopar Performance Super 60 Kit that i wanted to put onto my car, the only thing is i need an intercooler to have the kit function properly, so i was wondering if anyone knows where i can find an intercooler for my car and about how much would it run for.
Thanks Again Nick |

The cheapest way would be the junkyard...you can get one one a conquest.

I have another question i forgot to ask before, how would i go about installing this intercooler, and would there be any need of some custom fabrications? Thanks

GLHS221 is right. You will want to find a car in a salvage yard and get your parts from it. Any Turbo II car would be a good candidate. A later model Shelby Daytona or even a mini van. The salvage yard by my house sells intercoolers for $11 and they show up on a reular basis. You would want to get all the plumbing from it you can. In fact, you might want to get a whole Turbo II motor and rebuild it instead of using the one in your Lebaron. A Turbo II motor has a forged steel crank and heavier rods which are designed to take the extra hp. Good luck.
