Question MP Aluminum Pump Housing + Fittings

UK based member fitting a M.P Aluminum Water Pump Housing to a 440.

I would like to fit aluminum pipe fittings to avaoid possible corrosion from electrolysis - Todate, I have been unable to find a suitable supplier. This housing have been around for some time and this problem must have been dealt with before?

The fittings I need come in two different sizes and use a USA style pipe thread (three fittings in total).

PAW make two fittings that are similar in style to what I am looking for but they are the wrong size CHR-9125 and CHR-9126.

Anyone know of a company that makes these fittings? Web address would be great - 800 numbers dont work from the UK!

Thanks in advance

LOL, not to worry about spelling or other little things. My family history goes back England. But my spelling and grammar isn't "All that."

I have a small block. The pumps are aluminum. The fittings are steel. The disimalar metals will not have a problem. Just use some teflon tape around the threads. By the time you have a problem, your grand kids will be old.

Perhaps a big block owner can help with the proper fitting sizes and style.

Cool

Thanks for the tip.

I contacted Earls and ordered two (3/8" NPT x 1/2" I.D Hose) & one (1/2" NPT x 5/8 I.D Hose) adapetrs.

The 3/8 item is part number 984008ERL and the 1/2" item is 984010ERL. They come in a blue anodized finish.

Problem sorted I Hope !
