Cool For all you who have helped me, the pics are here...

Finally got it figured out, to a point anyway. Go to:

www.hpphoto.com

Log in as: rey440cj
password: 440cj

Click on: My albums

Click on: View album

At the bottom of each pic you can check on "view", then check on "original size", then "full screen". Phew!

More to come next week, burnouts and hopefully will figure out how to do a video as well of "launch" from inside the car, etc. Lemme know how it looks, eh? 440cj

Nice, very nice. Makes me long for the days before marriage, a house, responsibilities and nasty frame rot caused me to scrap my Duster. I will be back on the streets in my 48 pickup soon. This is what keeps me going.

Anyway, nicely done on the Dart Sport. Blow off a ricer for me would ya?

Unhappy Mine's not streetable yet

..but I would like to take a look at yours and see what kind of stuff you have done.
Mine still needs the timing set and carb adjusted..plus it's the stock driveline for now...not very durable.
What dealer? I saw it in the pics, but I can't tell what one it is.

Got a number there?

I live in North Arlington off Green Oaks.

Hey SUPERDART, have any pics of your Dart posted anywhere? I'd love to see what you've done as well. From your description, sounds like alot of stuff done to her. Trying to get a few more ideas for my Dart ... still in the workings. I'd appreciate some photos if possible. Thanks, Adam.

Post It ain't pretty

So far everything that has been done is engine stuff -
It still has what's left of the original paint (brown with tan strips)and the original hail dents, the half vinyl top was taken off (good ridens) and the interior is trashed. I have reworked the dash, to include the guages (also installed a VDO tach and oil guage), and I have good door and kick panels that I found in a junk yard. The headliner has been ripped out due to water damage and to allow access to fix the moonroof. All in all it looks like crap right now. I bought it strictly because it was a rust free/complete car. BUT - The 360 we put in is sweet. It has been completely worked / machined/tanked/fluxed. Crank has been ground .010 on all surfaces, 9.0:1 pistons, 576 ported heads, nice MP wrinkle black valve covers. My spoiler is a factory original that MP still had.. there were only 17 left in the country last time I checked.
I have installed standard steel 15" rims (powder coated flat black) and I would like to put dog dishes on it some day.
The fuel system is all new 3/8 aluminum bent line w/regulator and guage at the carb with a custom bracket.
It still needs a new starter (late model, of course) and the battery is going in the trunk. It's getting dual remote oil filters with an MP high efficiency oil cooler / trans cooler/ electric cooling fans, and a full Just Suspension Poly front end. I will be putting a MAS front chin spoiler on it, and it recently got hood pins. I am leaning toward a Ram air system for it, or at least a cold air intake.

My basic premis is a T/A DART (compare it to an AAR Cuda or T/A Challenger and you get the idea). Dodge never made them, but they should have...when I'm finished my car will look like it is ready for a circa 1970 Trans Am Race.

Unfortunately for now she's on hold...I live in an apartment, and the complex has been lax on me because I don't make a mess, but I have only been able to do tinker sh!t (the motor work was done at a friends house). I'm trying to get a house as we speak...then the real fun starts.

I have a Digital camera, I'll post some pics somewhere for all to observe the rescue operation.

Red face Wow, thanks guys!

Really makes all the blood, sweat and burns worthwhile to recieve such good comments, really appreciate it fellas. Gonna try to learn how to post video as tomorrow looks like good enough weather for a burnout/launch video. I really can't believe how much better it runs than my 383 Charger or 440 Roadrunner did...matched parts DO make a difference. 440cj

Unhappy Yes and No...

I am a member of Cowtown Mopars but haven't had the pleasure of meeting Kelly since I haven't made time to get to a meeting in about a year . Gotta get it in gear, I guess! 440cj

Post Cowtown Mopars

440cj and 440barracuda:
You guys are both in the club huh?
You need to make the meetings...they're getting big..and there's a lot going on.

BTW - Tem Greene is selling Challenger - so if anyone wants a 1 of 1 R/T 440 4spd car give a shout.

oh and 440cj..I want to get with you, but i'm trying to close on a house right now...so it's a tad busy.

BH - Independently Wealthy? Really? Cool guess I can afford whatever I want
Thanks for the heads up, but I found a 2 car/4 bed house off of Green Oaks by Lake Arlington (and yes, the garage/bed is in order of importance).
