I'M ABOUT TO CHOOSE A SET OF WIRES FOR THIS MILD 383. I LIKE THOSE JACOBS CERAMIC BOOTS.
Has anyone had any experience with these wires. What about other brands of wires. Is jacobs the way to go. This is all new to me.
THANX.and HAPPY HOLIDAYS
PS What about a brand and heat range of spark
for this mild 383.I'm using headers thats why
I'm thinking ceranmic boots.

Ok, here I go again plugging MSD stuff. I run the MSD Super Conductor wires with my headers and have no problems. I also haven't heard anything bad about the Jacobs wires other than a few broken boots. By the way, does anyone else out there use Thermo-Tec header wrap or other similar product? I use this a lot also, and it really helps prolong the life of wires, starters, skin, etc.

I use and really like the Moroso Blue Max wires.I've got a set on my 383 that's been on there for 12 years.I use the Nippondenso spark plugs(same as Accel U-groove)because they have a equal to the J-11Y Champion. These plugs work very well and last a long time.In my truck and the wife's Jeep I use Champions.

Call MSD and make your own set, they are very heat resistant and relible
