neutreal safety switch doesnt work
My Challenger with a 727 will start in gear. That shouldn't be the norm ,correct? I was hoping someone can tell me where the switch is & if there is a way to test it Thanks Much

The switch is on the side of the tranny. Disconnect the the lead on the starter relay, that is going down to the tranny. Then try to start the car. If it still starts, then the problem is with the starter relay. If it does not start, then the problem is with the wire going to the tranny (grounded) or the safety switch.

Be sure that someone hasn't installed a standard shift starter relay, they're grounded at the case.
