975 Heads
I'm wondering what you guys think about the 975 heads? I picked up a 66 383 that has the 975 heads on it ( I know not original), but they've been rebuilt and I don't want to spend alot of money on different heads, if the 975's would be ok for mildly built engine.
Thanks for the help. Bob |

Those are good heads. There the 75 model year Big Block heads. They have hard exhaust seats, and flow just as well as the old heads. Do some mild bowl work and a good 3 angle valve job and let her rip.
