Flywheels
Is there a difference in weight between V8 flywheels in a truck versus car? I'm looking at the 70s era and such
Thanks |

In many cases the flywheels are identical between a truck and a car.

The 360's are diff. The truck is larger in diameter, 11 1/2 clutch for the truck and 10 1/2 for the car. The truck flywheel wont even go into the bellhousing of a car. So there must be a weight diff.

I'm talking 318/340 here. Are they still different? The trans it will be going in is a NV3500 (truck), so maybe it'll still fit?
