Default a body 727 tranny crossmember

doean anybodyknow if the slantsix 904 crossmember will work with no mods for the small block 727, please help, motor and tranny going in two days, any tips on physically droppping the motor in?

The 4-speed A bodys are the same too! I switched over and worked just the same. For that matter the E body corssmembers look just alike the a bodys too!
