Looks great!

Now just get those tootsie rools out and polish em up like glass. Dont forget to polosh the combudtion chamber surface too! getting rid of pointy sharp spots will help keep detonation at bay.

Question

Anyone ported a set of 346 heads. I took a set apart today and I like what I see.. I think they will be better than the 906s. I have them here side by side..

the 346 heads shape is practically the same as in any other '71& up heads. The short side of the intake ports and the valve guide area are different. In factory form, the 906&915 heads seem to be better below 0.5" lift, but when rou start prepping them the newer castings are easier to get big #s out of. The guides in 915&906 need way more work and to get the short side correct for big lift flow is way more difficult. So go ahead, and use the 346's.
